El Venadito, art againts animal cruelty

El Venadito, , the art exhibition against animal cruelty, in its 4th edition, reinvents itself by creating a new exhibition format.

The abuse of primates is the central topic of this new open call organised by the artistic space siNesteSia and Centre Cultural la FARINERA del CLOT in collaboration with  FUNDACIÓ MONA.

A de-localised exhibition that seeks out the public outside the gallery

Montserrat Pérez, creator of the project and curator of siNesteSia, proposes a new idea for the fourth edition of El Venadito. To reach as many people as possible, the art pieces will be placed outside the exhibition hall of the different participating centres and entities, mostly in corridors and waiting rooms. La Farinera del Clot will organize the different locations that this year are joining the project..

Young European volunteers clean up our territory

Vivotecnia rescue update

In recent days, cases of mistreatment in Vivotecnia (Tres Cantos, Madrid) have come to light thanks to images made public by the NGO Cruelty Free International.

Monkeys, mice, dogs, pigs, cats, rats, rabbits… all victims of the worst cruelty and cruelty by laboratory workers, far from any legality.

Thanks to the pressure and effort of many organizations and individuals, the Community of Madrid suspended the research activity and it seemed that in a few hours all the animals would be removed from this living hell. But now it seems that the process has been paralyzed, awaiting a judicial process.
