Order your mona-easter egg made by the world’s best pastry chef
Again this year we are very proud to be able to offer to you the most special mona (mona is the Catalan name for traditional cakes and chocolate figures given by the godparents on Easter week’s last day, some with so much complexity and detail they can be considered pieces of art).
One more year, Jordi Roca, awarded as the world’s best pastry chef, and his team of Rocambolesc, have made a “mona inspired by the rescued primates of Fundació MONA’s sanctuary. It’s a little artwork piece, a sculpture made of the best cocoas, with a surprise inside and 100% solidarity because the profits of “the mona” will go towards the Primate Rescue Center.
